When does my coffee ship?

We roast after you order, which is the whole point. Roasting and packing take 1 to 3 business days, then US shipping is typically 2 to 5 more. Fresh beats fast.

What does ROASTED TO ORDER mean?

Every box is stamped ROASTED TO ORDER because that is exactly what happened. Nothing is roasted until someone orders it, and we hold no roasted stock in a warehouse. Coffee is best in the first few weeks after roasting, so the shortest path from roaster to you is the whole design.

Whole bean or ground?

Either. Every roast ships whole bean or ground, chosen per box at checkout. Whole bean keeps longer, since grinding starts the clock, but ground is there if you would rather we did it.

What is Redacted?

A different roast every month, label mostly bars. We do not announce what it is. Subscribers get it first. That is everything we will say.

How do subscriptions work?

Monthly, through Stripe, shipping included. Skip a box, pause, swap roasts, or cancel any time from manage your subscription: enter your email and every option is right there. Renewal charges fire when the roaster does.

Do you ship outside the US?

Not yet. The beans roast in the US and customs does bad things to fresh coffee timelines.

Is the shop in Halden real?

Halden is from the world of Unread: Phone Detective, and so is the shop. The coffee, the roaster, and your order are entirely real, and every box ships from the USA. The address on the box is worldbuilding; the coffee inside it is not.
